2027 Winterlude Triathlon Pre Race Newsletter
The Winterlude Triathlon will be here before we know it and we wanted to send some event reminders. Please read through this entire email so that you're ready for your race!
Transfer Deadline: Tuesday, January 26th at 6pm:
If you need to change any info related to your registration, please let us know before Tuesday, January 26th at 6pm. We won't be able to make any changes after that time, so be sure to reach out soon if you need anything.
After that date, registration will be open, subject to availability. The best way to guarantee your spot is to register early!
Orientation and Bib Pickup:
Saturday, January 30st from 3 pm to 6 pm. Location TBD.
Sunday, January 31st, starting at 6:30 am. At the Terry Fox Facility.
If you want to do a bit of course recon, we encourage you to watch this virtual orientation. If anything is unclear or if you have more questions, you can email Adam@somersault.ca.

Getting to the Event:
Please do NOT try to access the parking lot at the Terry Fox Facility. In the winter, that access road is no narrow that two cars can't use it at the same time, meaning that even a simple drop off can take 20 minutes, for a 200m loop.
There's lots of parking at the Canada Post building, a Vincent Massey Park, Hogs Back Park, and in the community. If you're being dropped off, or taking a rideshare, it's best to be dropped off across the street and walk the last 200 meters.
When to Arrive:
We recommend showing up between 6:30am and 6:45am, to find parking, get your bib/timing chip, warm up, and make your way to the start line. We'll be set up at Terry Fox, starting at 6:30am
